flying pig 2013

last year i ran/walked the full flying pig marathon.  26.2 miles.
this year, only the half marathon, but a little faster, without the photos of elvis and other entertaining folks.  the only photos i have are from the day before - here's the view from the skywalk on the way to the convention center to pick up race numbers - and
 before we started moving.
my teen was put into the corral behind mine.  security was firm about not making exceptions, so she stood at the very front, behind the temporary orange plastic fence, while i waited in front of it.
it was supposed to rain, and when the sun rose, the clouds
 made a colorful show.

the starting gun went off at 6:30 a.m., and we walked under the bridge
past paul brown stadium and
 to the starting line.
that's it - time to put the camera away!

it was cool and a rainy by the end.
an everyday beauty.

joy to you.

  2. I was wondering when you were going to put the camera away:-) love that you took us right up to the starting point!!

My neighbours did a 160KM bicycle tour yesterday and you ran a half marathon... AMAZING!! Puts me to shame. All I have to contribute is my 3 hours of tennis:-) Not a match.

Glad you enjoyed the Supper Club post and thank you for collating the Creative Process posts:-)

    Well done on your achievement!
